Art on the Grand returns to Downtown Farmington June 7 and 8
Downtown Farmington will once again come alive with creativity and color as Art on the Grand returns on Saturday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 8 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This popular annual art fair takes place along Grand River Avenue between Farmington Road and Grove Street, transforming the heart of downtown into an open-air gallery. The event features free admission and showcases a diverse range of high-quality art from talented artists across the region. Shoppers and art lovers can browse and purchase work in a wide variety of disciplines, including ceramics, jewelry, painting, photography, wood, wearable art, glass, leather, and sculpture—with pieces available at many price points.
This event also includes Kids Art Alley, which is a special art fair featuring young local artists who are on-site to talk about and sell their own creations. Located within the footprint of the ART on the GRAND art fair, this creative opportunity for kids has become a joy for shoppers of all ages.
Street Closures and Parking Info:
To accommodate the event setup:
- Grand River Avenue between Farmington Road and Grove Street will close at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 6.
- The Market Street parking lot (from Starbucks to Bulldogs) will be closed late Thursday night, June 5.
- Streets will reopen by 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 8.
The Farmington Farmers & Artisans Market will remain open during its regular hours starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning in Riley Park.
