On Sept. 7, 2025 at about 2:38 p.m., the Farmington Public Safety Department responded to a report of a possible “Stranger Danger” incident in the area of Farmington  and Eight Mile roads. It was reported that two teenage females were approached by a female in a vehicle, who asked the teenagers if they wanted a ride, and then proceeded to follow them after they declined.

The vehicle pictured below is a smaller black SUV, which was occupied by a white female in her early thirties wearing a pink baseball hat and dark sunglasses.

Farmington Public Safety detectives continue to investigate, however, we are asking members of the public to contact this department if they were witness to this incident or may have had similar interactions.

The Farmington Public Safety Department reminds our community to stay vigilant of their surroundings. Do not engage anyone that approaches you or your children and immediately call 911. We ask parents to remind their children about stranger danger and contacting a trusted adult when something does not feel right.

If you have information regarding this incident, please contact Commander Patrick Spelman at 248/699-5150 or email pspelman@farmgov.com
